1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using InspectMac ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and INSPECTMAC.com ("we," "us," or "our"), a business entity based in the United States.

2. License Grant

2.1 Free License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Free tier of InspectMac for personal or commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2.2 Pro License

Upon purchasing a Pro license ($12.99 one-time payment), you receive a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use all Pro features of InspectMac on devices you own or control.

A Pro license is valid for:

  • Personal use on unlimited devices owned by you
  • Commercial use by a single user within one organization

License keys may not be shared, resold, or transferred to third parties.

3. Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Software
  • Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Share your Pro license key with others

4. Ownership

InspectMac and all intellectual property rights therein are and shall remain the exclusive property of INSPECTMAC.com. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights to the Software.

5. Updates and Support

  • Free Updates: Pro license holders receive all future updates at no additional cost
  • Support: We provide email support for Pro users. Response times are not guaranteed
  • Feature Changes: We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time

6. Payment and Refunds

6.1 Payment

Pro licenses are sold via Lemon Squeezy. Payment is processed securely, and we do not store your credit card information.

6.2 Refund Policy

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with InspectMac Pro, contact us within 15 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Software will meet your requirements
  • The Software will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • File deletion operations will always succeed (permissions, file locks, and system constraints may cause failures)

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE (I.E., $12.99 FOR PRO LICENSES, OR $0 FOR FREE USERS).

9. Data Loss Disclaimer

WARNING: InspectMac deletes files by moving them to the macOS Trash. While we implement protected path checks and safety mechanisms, you are solely responsible for backing up important data before using deletion features.

We are not liable for any data loss, accidental deletion, or file corruption resulting from your use of the Software.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Software is available worldwide, and local mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
